As of today, Avicii Arena is the new name of the iconic globe shaped arena in Sweden. Avicii Arena becomes a symbol and meeting place for an initiative focused on young people's mental health. In celebration of the renaming, The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra has recorded a symphonic version of the Avicii song "For A Better Day", sung by 14-year-old Ella.

From a young age, Avicii made a name for himself as a talented DJ. The Swedish artist was signed when he was only 16, and he would soon see tremendous success with his musical work. Sadly, his career came to an abrupt end when he died while on vacation in Muscat, Oman at the age of 28.

Reports early on gave fans an insight into the cause of death, though his dedicated followers probably wanted to know what was really going on. Now, Avicii’s father confirms what we suspected about his son’s tragic death.
